Full Tuition Scholarships

Pepperdine has partnered with two distinguished dispute resolution organizations for the 2017 - 2018 academic year to provide full-tuition scholarships for students in the LLM Program.

JAMS Scholarship

The Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine School of Law is pleased to announce that JAMS is sponsoring a full-tuition scholarship for Pepperdine's LLM in Dispute Resolution program. JAMS is the largest for-profit provider of mediation and arbitration services in the United States, with offices in more than 25 cities and more than 300 retired judges and senior lawyers on its panel. JAMS has been focusing on international opportunities, including the opening of an office in London, and sees this scholarship as an expression of its support for future practitioners. 

Seegmiller Law Firm Scholarships

The Seegmiller Law Firm, headquartered in Newport Beach, serves those who need legal services in both California and Nevada. For the 2017 - 2018 year the Seegmiller Law Firm has offered to expand their scholarship from one to the following two programs:

Seegmiller Scholarship for Korean Nationals

This scholarship is available to applicants from Korea looking to earn an LLM from Straus Institute's LLM program options.

Seegmiller Scholarship for Europeans

This scholarship is available to applicants from Europe looking to earn an LLM from Straus Institute's LLM program options.

Application Instructions

Interested students should send a two-page letter explaining why they would like to be selected for the JAMS or Seegmiller Scholarship with their application. Each letter should be unique to the scholarship applied. Scholarship applications will be due on March 3, 2017. Applicants are encouraged to apply early. 

In addition to the full tuition scholarships, Pepperdine provides partial scholarships at the point of admissions.  Priority deadline for partial scholarships is February 15.

In preparation for the LLM program, International LLM students may want to participate in Pepperdine's U.S. Law and Legal Writing Seminar, offering a four-week Legal English intensive experience in July.
