FORMER FULL SAIL (FL) STUDENT WINS AWARD IN HOME COUNTRY

Lavado Stubbs, a former Full Sail film student from the Bahamas, recently received the 2014 Bahamian Icon Award for Entertainment, honoring his work as a director.

“To get honored from my people is huge because I was born and raised in the Bahamas, and with everything I do, I always incorporate the Bahamas into it,” Lavado said. “Since I came back from L.A. a year-and-a-half ago, I’ve just been working nonstop, and to feel and see that my Bahamian people are behind me is such a great honor.”
