I. Financial Aid

UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN - GREEN BAY (WI) UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS

University of Wisconsin - Green Bay has scholarships available for all undergraduate international students. The awards range from $2,000 - $8,000. To be considered for the scholarships, new and transfer students must apply by the following deadlines:

Spring semester: November 1st
Fall semester: June 1st

THE NEW SCHOOL (NY) SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION

Five full-tuition and five partial-tuition scholarships are available in The New School Competition. The competition is open globally for graduating high school students who want to begin undergraduate studies in fall 2015 at the renowned The New School in New York City. Non-graduating high school students are also welcome to join the competition and compete for Apple iPad Minis. Your future starts now! Enter the contest by the deadline, February 1, 2015.

THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY MORITZ COLLEGE OF LAW (OH) OFFERS SEVERAL SCHOLARSHIPS

The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law offers the Moritz LL.M. Scholarship to outstanding LL.M. applicants who will contribute to the intellectual diversity and strength of the LL.M. program.

Moritz College of Law also offers the Jones Day Scholarship for applicants from the People’s Republic of China. The scholarship offers a 50% tuition waiver and seeks to support students who show promise through a record of community service, academic or professional achievement, leadership and/or overcoming hardship.

Additionally, regional scholarships are also awarded to students from the Americas, Africa, Europe and Southeast Asia. Each of these regional scholarships are for $15,000. Some of the scholarships offered by partners include COLFUTURO Grants (50% tuition waivers for winners from Colombia) and Fulbright Grants (partial tuition waivers). Muskie Grants are also partial tuition waivers for students from select countries.

MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY'S (MI) NEW PROGRAM PAIRS DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Michigan State University and the city of East Lansing, MI have partnered to start MSU East Lansing Together: Promoting Outreach through Translations (known as MELTing POT). The new program will pair American students with international students to translate city documents into different languages, such as Chinese, Arabic and Spanish.

SOUTHWESTERN LAW SCHOOL (CA) PROFESSOR RECEIVES INTERNATIONAL LAWYER OF THE YEAR AWARD

The International Law Section of the State Bar of California selected Professor Robert Lutz as the recipient of the 2014 Warren M. Christopher International Lawyer of the Year Award for his extraordinary service to the profession in the field of international law. HIRAM COLLEGE (OH) RECEIVES U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT GRANT FOR INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION

Hiram College is the recipient of a U.S. State Department grant for $500,000 to fund international collaboration. The program, “Connecting Pakistani and American High Schools through International Watershed Partnerships,” calls for the formation of non-traditional partnerships among American and Pakistani high schools, universities, local community partners and government agencies – partnerships that are necessary to solve the unprecedented global water crises of the 21st Century.
